Re: Does a common ground N64 controller exist?

Ground is common on an n64 controller, there's only 1 ground wire going to the n64 console from the controller.

Here's the schematic:

If I soldered the buttons/joystick to the corresponding signal spots and a ground wire from the spot ...

According to the schematics I've seen for the N64 controller, it's got separate ground lines. I want to wire the signal from each button/direction input to a DB25 plug and then run one ground wire from the PCB to the DB25 plug.

When I say common ground, I'm referring to all signals sharing the same ground line, so I could wire one ground line for all the buttons/directions when connecting the PCB to the joystick via DB25 cable.

Does a common ground N64 controller exist?

I'm looking for an N64 controller PCB to hack into a project box for an arcade stick, but I haven't yet found one that is common ground. Does anyone know of an N64 controller that is common ground?
