The reason I asked bout all that stuff for the ps3 is, it's never been cleaned out or anything. So I figured I would have the ps3 last another couple years. So one of these days when I have money flowing, I'm going to clean out the ps3, than replace ...

I know it's been awhile since my last post (for those that followed my Xero64 project, it will continue, but I am 100% starting over, and buying tools, systems, screens, etc before starting. I don't have many of the tools needed, and I kept on screwing up.)

Radioshack is a good place if your to lazy to go online and buy for cheap. I've only bought from radioshack 1 time, and thank god the guy at the counter knew exactly what I was talking about, you guys seem to have horrible radioshacks lol

No, i meant that the thicker wires were easier to work with than the skinner ones, and they stayed straight lol. On the "C" stick diagram the only part i didnt get is the part with the lines, im assuming the part with the rectangles are resistors.

Radioshack is a very nice source for getting many, many things you'll need to make your portable. Remember that! You can find a ton of things you might need for your project such as resistors, capacitors, controllers, tact switches, etc. Reason im posting this is for new people, i mean, when we ALL ...

there is also the ssue of the pots. i have no idea if they are 10kohm or what. if they dont match the GC, it wont work too well.

Don't know if i can or can't post after this because no one has yet, but related to catridge slot relocation i got extra advice that shockslayer did in the vid which makes it MUCH easier to solder! What you do is bend the pins on the catridge to point towards the outside of the catridge itself, if ...

...Huh? Keep in mind, my mind likes things simple AND im new at this stuff. But im catching on pretty dang fast
