Its more the laptop form/shape I'm after as well as the large screen.
Do you know anywhere to get a good sized screen it seems to be impossible to make a screen from a laptop one let alone a TV.
I could also use a larger Ps2 as i have one and they have hard-drive upgrade-ability.
Is there any way ...

My basic thoughts weree that laptops essentially are a big screen and a motherboard. I know that some people have got ps2's to hook up to vga or dvi screens and ps2's are a motherboard.
So if a laptop can be run off a small battery then how difficult would it be to make a Ps2 laptop.

Hi. I need to know how to remove the backlight lamp from a LCD monitor so i can run the screen from less power. How much power do they use. What is the best way to remove the backlight inverter so i can replace the lamps with LED's.

What about Ps3? I assume it would be easier because it is more like a computer but would the same cable hack work?
Is there any better options for Ps3?

how do you connect a Ps2 to a computer vga monitor? I have seen a few explanations but if anyone could point me in the way of a decently documented tutorial then that would be greatly helpful. Also if you could make you own diagrams?

How can you connect a laptop screen to the output of a Ps2? It should be possible to decode the signals so that the monitor can show them but i have no idea how. is there something in the laptop that takes the signals from the MoBo and converts them that i could somehow hack? If i got a broken LCD ...
