When something like this happened to my cellphone, i just:
-took cotton off a q-tip
-spread a tiny bit of glue (just around the end of a qtip, so that it doesn't stick to the sides, just to the jack)
-put it inside, put some pressure and wait a bit
and took it out with no problem at all :-) you ...

I was thinking about similar mod, but there was one question uncle google couldn't answer: Is there a toploading dvd? I would love the original playstation to remain it's toploading feature (for the sake of being as stealthy as possible).
