I would imagine that it is possible, but difficult. The screen connector/interface is likelly to be propriatary so you may have problems there. If you can get one with video out (VGA, DVI, HDMI etc) though, you may have more luck (by buying a complete screen/monitor and gutting it). Would likelly ...

1. I can get an Atom Z5XX windows-installed touchscreen UMPC with ~5 in. screen fairly cheaply. Right around $200.
