I went and got 14 today. I can ship them to anyone who needs one, but I'm saving 10 to give away at my local 2600 meeting.

Well, I'm glad that I could tip y'all off to this :)

Does anyone have any hack ideas? I think it might be possible to use these for Tetris if one 'bought' two.

I won't have access to my camera for a little while. What would I need to reprogram an EEPROM? What utility might a 7 by 21 LED have?

I can't; I just let my father borrow my camera for his trip :(

One side is the 7 by 21 LCD panel.

The other side has:

- seven small black rectangular objects in the upper left; each is labeled J3Y and is surrounded by a white box on the circuit board.

- the battery

- three buttons.

- twelve ...

Hacking a Best Buy gift card...

I got a Best Buy gift card lately for $20. I bought a game and had a bit left over, so I bought another Best Buy gift card for $0.01. This card has a 7 by 21 LED display that shows simple scrolling messages. I opened it up, and have no idea what to do next - I've never done something like this ...

1) How do I find a female geek to befriend?

1.5) How do I get her attention and get her talking to me?

2) How do I keep her my friend?

I have a Nomad, but...

But I have no battery pack or adaptor for it. I would love to be able to modify it into something more... practical, anyways. Any ideas?
