I went and got 14 today. I can ship them to anyone who needs one, but I'm saving 10 to give away at my local 2600 meeting.

Does anyone have any hack ideas? I think it might be possible to use these for Tetris if one 'bought' two.

whats do those three buttons do... the youtube video suggests that the card is already programmable manually.
One can add messages to a limit of six. One button advances characters; another moves to the next letter in the alphabet in one's selection; another moves to the previous letter in one's ...

The third item in that list might prove a problem. I don't have, nor know where to obtain, a microcontroller.

That's exactly the card. It's wonderful; I really want to hack it, but don't know where to start.

I won't have access to my camera for a little while. What would I need to reprogram an EEPROM? What utility might a 7 by 21 LED have?

I can't; I just let my father borrow my camera for his trip :(

One side is the 7 by 21 LCD panel.

The other side has:

- seven small black rectangular objects in the upper left; each is labeled J3Y and is surrounded by a white box on the circuit board.

How would one portable-ize a Wii? It seems almost... counterintuitive.

But I have no battery pack or adaptor for it. I would love to be able to modify it into something more... practical, anyways. Any ideas?
