i think i might just try nimh battries, but how many volts does it need? im planning to use a ps1 screen and bigger case, since i want to have nes games in it too. But since bens book doesnt say anything about noacs i might have to use an NES:p is there any place where they give step by step ...

yeah i think i might do a portable NOAC so do i have to get a 72 pin connector for that if i want to play nes games on it too? Will i still be able to use Bens book to make the portable if i use the Super joy 3? what are the main items that i will need other than wire, solder/ desoldering. What type ...

Hey People :D ,
Im kinda new to this hacking and making portables, so is the NES a good system to start out with? If not, what is a good system to make a portable out of? Also how much does it usually cost to make a portable including controllers and switches and a system ect. ?
