Okay... it's extremely hard for me to get the damn ribbon in place. I taped the battery in place and got it to turn on with the case open, but it's not going well. I had my wife tap at the screen while I moved the ribbon around to see if it would respond. I'm fairly certain it has to boot with it ...

A low temperature shouldn't. If you were to use hot glue, try using it as soon as it is able to be squeezed out of the gun. The trigger will be hard to pull.

I'm guessing your soldering skills aren't good?

Because it looks like only 4 pins. Could use 30 gauge wire and hardwire it or buy a replacement zif connector and re-solder it on.

Yeah I don't have any soldering skills. I really wish I did right about now. I need to find someone who can I suppose ...

I was doing a shell swap for my NDS Lite and everything went smooth until I tried to lay this little black door back down on the ribbon. It popped off and then I tried to put it back on and it snapped in half. It's so damn small. :( I was wondering if there might be an alternative to buying another ...
