I bought a batch of 4 broken Sega Genesis's, 3 1st edition 1 second edition.

This is the first time i've opend one up.

I opend up the second edition to take out the cartridge slot and I saw some wires soldered connecting a few different things. These looked more fresh and less professional than ...

Radica Questions

- Is there any difference between the two different verison of the radica, can I use the first version (blue) and use the same diagram?
- To put a catridge slot on, do you just solder according to the diagram leaving the chip on the board and run it like you would before?

Well the fact that I can use the buttons/speakers is good.

Using the entire GBA would be a lot better than the alternative way I had planned (100x more bulky)

Could I make it use the GBA cartriges AND another system's?

How to make GBA lcd work?

Does anyone know how to make the LCD from the GBA work..

I'm completely new to this... but I have a broken GBA and it just seems easier to use the speakers, pad, buttons, and LCD from the GBA to make this than anything else.

The LCD is a ribbon cable connected to the board.
