Got one of these from the goodwill and loved seeing the hack for the KipKay hack for making a night vision headset.
The part number for the viewfinder is VF-04U.

I didnt have anything that could input video to the unit, not to mention that before I got the photos in a friend of mine thought hooking up a large 8volt battery to the terminals would make it work.... and I could smell a fried circuit for sure.

I am not too confident of this screen working since I did get this unit from a goodwill.
I am going to try and find a working unit in the future though with a decent screen.

Well I have the screen connected up to a 5volt power source on the 5vlt and ground, but I do not have any light from the screen, I can feel some warmth from the main chip, but I have no light from it.
