So, i am so close to having my n64 portable working, and im waiting for a couple new parts to come in, and i tried the screen on my batteries but the only thing that happened was the screen came on but was black the whole time and i could faintly make out the volume bar at the bottom of the screen ...

i was just wondering if using a battery of the same size, like a nimh c cell battery, but of different Mila amps per hour to connect it to a pre-configured battery, would it affect how long the battery would last if there were a couple batteries of higher Mah hooked up in series/ parallel connection ...

Ahem,
inlight of recent information, i have tried to cut the trace and it didn't work. I am not sure which trace it is and have also read about the ic-chip and pin 5 apparently needs to be soldered up. But agian, i don't know which is pin 5. A little more insight would be nice.

My N64 Power Switch is Broken
Yeah, i kind of completely destroyed my power switch and don't know how to turn on the motherboard without it.
My battery is supplying the necessary voltage to the system but the N64 still isn't powering up. Please Help.
