I got the voltage regulators. I don't have time to work on it though right now ><

I got my gamebits and opened one of My N64s. They are both very early 96 US N64s. The Serial on this one is NS204490799.

I ordered the 3 free voltage regulators. I ordered 3.8 and 4.5 mm gamebits from an ebay store on the 18th but I've yet to get a tracking number :\

Well for now lets say I will use the Li-ion battery that's part of my DVD.
Its a Toshiba SD-PBP18 7.4V 4000mAh. Shouldn't it have a protection circuit built in though?? OR would the protection circuit be part of the charger or the Player unit? I wouldn't think so.

Have you left the battery connected for a long period of time? I came across this article that has some useful information. If your PCB wasn't setup correctly you could have drained the battery past the level where it can be recharged.

Your projects looks awesome. I can't believe how small you've gotten it, even considering its not closed up tightly.
I can't offer any advice for your battery issue, I'm starting a project, but I don't understand how to make the power supply at all. Where did you learn how to wire up the battery ...

I got to thinking. Why stop with a power supply? Wouldn't it be totally amazing to have a combined DVD N64?
