the cable is originally a gamecube cable, i know snes, gamecube, and n64 cables are compatible with each other.
i'm definitely not the kind of person who just janks out the cable from the tv, i'm really careful with my consoles. :P

i don't think it is, i took the yellow rca plug from the multi-out cable to connect it, which is always composite video.
