Mini-ITX mp3 player?
Just put a tiny motherboard in it, and put an led display behind the front door.

I used my case as a cd-player. I hadn't seen another one made. I used an old portable cd player, and some old PC speakers. Wired it to use the wall adapter or D-cells. And wired the controls to the controller port. So the B & A buttons skipped tracks. Then I installed a worm drive so when you held down the reset button it would push the cd reading mechanism out the front so you could load the cd.

Then I moved out and my mom accidentally broke it. I still have it somewhere. I should probably fix it.

A mini-itx mp3 player would be big, mp3 players are supposed to be small.

Collect a lot of them, and build furniture (or a house)!

Looks cool, but not very comfy. Maybe some mouse gel pads would help soften it a bit :P
