It does have an SD slot, If you look inside. It's amazing how professional the aluminium contact paper makes it look.

No! Why didn't I work to build that?!

Oh well. Looks good, though it needs a Ben Heckendorn signature style case. That gray is just so dull, and the keyboard doesn't look like it's custom built. I'm joking, Ben can't make every custom built laptop (HP would be calling then). Well I haven't looked over the whole thing, but if there's a simple howto I'd like to get cracking on one once February or when I get money out of people that owe me.

I know! Wow. Can't believe I've never thought to use something like that before. Especially after all the casings and things I've torn apart to realize they used basically the same thing. This is definitely something I will be using in the future. Great idea!

Oh, and the C64 is cool too.

Agreed, that aluminum look is way nice. And look! It's fairly cheap too!

Amazing job on the case. The guy is good. The electronics are nicely done too.

Psh, who uses the DTV C64 any more? It's all about the C64 emulator for Parallax's Propellor PIC now (page 3). That thing owns.

Hey will a USB keyboard work with the C64 DTV? If it does I've found an awesome keyboard that I can use. I guess that PSone screen I have has now found it's purpose.

The DTV uses a PS/2 keyboard. You can hook it up to serial devices, but there is no bus expansion.

Yes, "if only" I were to make a C64 laptop. This one is cool though. I'd probably make something bigger...

i'm really interested in doing this, it seems very cool, however though a big thing for me is, will i really play the thing i make, this being said, i was wondering if anyone knows how you load games onto it, do you need to save them to SD cards and then use them or use cartridges of some type, i dont know a lot about commodore computers as you can tell

EDIT:
i read up a bit, from what i gather i'd have to get a disc drive and load it to the systems flash, does anyone know if doing that is difficult, or if the game discs are expensive?
