Super Mario Bros. 2. :P Served!

Any game that was a sports simulation with Mario in it. (Tennis, Golf...)

MARIO DDR

After the first one, all the Mario Party games were essentially the same.

And almost all the games boil down to:

MARIO -> BEAT BOWSER -> SAVE PRINCESS

DISCLAIMER: I mean no offense to anyone, and I hope no one is angry at me (because I'm not angry at anyone. :))

They should hire me to producer "Super Mario in Love"

A young geeky Mario must work his way through college to gain the love of the popular Princess and win her away from the Evil Jock Boyfriend.

Along the way he embarks on a variety of missions for people. This allows us to introduce characters such as Toad (once a professor but mutated by an experiment gone wrong and hides a la Phantom of the Opera) Luigi (the successful brother) Bowser (the evil jock boyfriend, before an experiment gone horribly wrong turned him into a dinosaur) and of course the grand finale of the game when a genetically altered ape steals the Princess and carries her to the top of a construction site, causing Mario to climb up after.

Think "Grand Theft Auto" meets "Mario" with a hub "campus" world to branch from. Mario must also work sh**ty jobs such as cleaning out sewers and toilets filled with puke and broken beer bottles. He is studying "plumbanotics" at school you know!

In the end he gets the girl, kills the ape (or does he?) and it launches right into where the Mario franchise began over 20 years ago. It could also be called "Mario Begins", "The Chronicles of Mario" or "Mario Episode I - The Phantom Menace"

Whadda think?

one thing nintendo needs to do is make DS games. Nintendo hasn't been able to outsell sony in the console market (yet), so they've been relying mostly on their portables ever since the days of the n64. Now the psp is out, and sony seems to be taking away the portable market, too. Once nintendo loses the portable market, it won't be long until they go bankrupt.

The reason that ds is failing so miserably has nothing to do with special features or graphics: it's the games (pretty ironic when you consider that they say that revolution will reclaim the console market because of its alledgedly incredible games, and not because of graphics). Look at this list of upcoming games for ds. That's pathetic. 9 first party games are planned, out of a total of only 33. correct me if i'm wrong, but the only 1st party games we have so far are SM64, pokemon dash, wario ware, polarium, and yoshi t&g.

So, in conclusion, what nintendo needs to do is make ds games (and hire ben to make "Super Mario in love).

I think that when the GBE comes out in '06 the portable market will once again be dominated 100% (or close enough that you can round up) by Nintendo. I have a feeling it will be a lot like the PSP. It'll probably have an SD slot (like the Rev will), and have multimedia options.

The one thing I dislike about the DS isnt the games (I only have SM64, [only got my DS two days ago], and I think Warioware will be a lot of fun when I get money, along with several other titles), but its that theres no Home button. A Home button would make things loads easier, considering you need to restart to get back to the main menu, even from the system-options menu.

Another thing the DS could use is a button-setup-option for GBA games, using the A button with Super Mario World is almost painful.

And the GBE should be clamshell, but have an analog stick, with the layout of the DS, but with a widescreen on top, and speakers and controlls on bottom or something.

10. the fact that sony will probly have a million fermware updates

I actually would rather play a PSone than play a PSP or a DS.

Have you seen the "Poser Mobile" commercials? they're the wiggerest (if that's a word) thing I have ever seen in my life, aside from inner city Providence. :P (Take that, "Voh Diellin"!)
