Ben, you sure you want to have a cookout in 40 degree weather? :P

Not really sure if I'll make it to that or not... If the expected turnout is high enough, then I may come in late, but it's just under 100 miles from the airport (where I'd pick up skyone and his dad) to Verona. Plus, I should check into the hotel as soon as I can.

I might be able to make the cook-off, but I was planning on leaving some time around Friday and it's at least 4 hours to get the UP from where I am, and another 4 to get to Wisconsin. Well I'll have to see what's going to happen I still have a few weeks to figure things out.

We can have another cookout at my place the Friday before if anyone is interested... Jones should be around as well.
I would have to catch the earliest plane to make it but that sounds worth it.

Is Jones going to MGC?

I might be able to make the BBQ, but we're going to end up having to drive there (ugh) so I'd have to leave pretty early and haul ass over if I wanted to make it, and I'd probably want to check in at the hotel first. But if everyone else is going, I'll definitely make sure to be there!

probably, will be leaving my house to pick up you and meet marshall around 6-7am then to pick up beth after that and then drive up to get samus at UNI and be on our merry sightseeing way after that, should be in or around oconomowoc/verona by mid to late afternnoon. also its not 100% positve that the volvo will make it on this trip, in that case we will ask kindly that marshall ferry us about and up to UNI to get samus and we will take her car (aka the dethstar) and marshalls instead of the volvo. i will be workin on it at every opportunity but i have A LOT to fix in a short time. will keep you al posted

Well it was just an idea. I keep forgetting winter in Wisconsin doesn't end until July.

Regardless, sounds like Jones and I will be going for sure at least.

As long as I have the money by then (which I will unless something big and unexpected comes up) Then yes, I will be coming. If for some strange reason I can't make it, I will let everyone know.

Next year for me for sure, if I don't have some academic thing tying me down, I have my own car, and I'm still active on the forums.

What time is everybody planning on getting there?

If I can go I plan on leaving Thursday night or early Friday morning.

I'm leaving at about 11:30... it's a 4 hour drive, so I should get there around 3:30 Friday afternoon. I'm not sure when my friend's last class is, so it may be later. I think most others will be coming later also. It looks like you're coming from Texas (ok, I admit it, I did some IP checking  ) so I'd say consider leaving Thursday morning, even... that much driving sucks in one shot, and you could spend a night in Springfield or St. Louis, MO. Trust me, I drove to Dallas from Minneapolis, I had a hard time doing 500 miles in a day
