This particular GIMP job needs work, and though it probably won't be my entry, I might enter something like that.

Well, thanks!

If I can get rid of some of the flaws (and figure out where to add a cartridge slot) and figure out how to paste it into a real photo, it might be what I'll stick with.

Get the OK from the community at large before you start posting stuff onto the other thread - if they see flaws you missed, you can fix them before the 'final' post. The people we are intending to fool are no fools themselves, and if one is obviously fake, the others will be looked at more closely still.

XCVG, keep an eye on the submissions - this is your baby now.

First, thanks, XCVG!

Second, not a whole lot's wrong with it; mainly just some angles that aren't quite right, plus no cartridge slot, as eurddrue correctly pointed out, though I may just leave it out and say it's somewhere else, haha. I'm working on a re-make on a real background as I type this, which will probably be done before too long.

eagle5953: Realism is what I'm going for -- I want this thing to look like a genuine prototype at the very least. Thus, I will try to work out any flaws that may have been present in the original version.

The intent is not to fool people, though it would be funny if it happened.

Thought we were trying to fool people.

Sounds like a plan to me!

make sure its in a real setting too. That saturn looks great as it is and believable but it needs to be on a bed or desk or something like the ds nintendo previously posted
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Ridonkulous
