I was just thinking, what should we bring to do in the hotel? Like, we should have some people bring various consoles, and then games and stuff. Oh, and power strips, I can imagine us needing some of those.

On a slightly related note, does the hotel have wifi access, and if so, is it free? I'd just like to know in advance, even though I'll be bringing my laptop anyways. :P

Portables, of course! :D ... I'd prefer to keep the tvs and stuff down to a minimum... I can only have so many people in the room at once, I'm kind of understating how many people I'll have in the rooms, and don't want a wild party that would raise eyebrows with the hotel. I'll probably bring my Wii, though, and I'm sure we can figure things out easily enough.

It was a little spotty (but still very usable) in the room we were in, but there was free wifi at the hotel.

Neildo_64 wrote:As of now, how much would it be per person for the room(s)? I would love to go, but as of right now, It's not a for sure. Is there anyone coming through Iowa that I could hitch a ride with?
It depends on how many people actually go, but it's looking like $38, $35 if you come

Well I've got an SNESp I've been working on... case will be done by then, and I've got all over the components. Maybe I'll just bring that and get it done!

Are there rules against it? (I wasn't planning on soldering anything as I have no inspiration, but just out of curiosity...)

It's probably the smell and potential fire hazard. I doubt the rules in that little binder they put on the table that's too small to do anything with says "27. No soldering in the rooms, people." :P

You might be able to set something like a banquet table up in the parking lot if you start going into modding withdrawal, though.
