im going with the revolution. it will support backwards compatibility with the game cube, and will be fully b/w compat. with every ninty console all the way back to the NES. this will be available via free downloadable ROM's, although hard drive arent bottomless pits. i doubt it will be difficult to fill a 20 or 40 gb hard drive with ninty games.
this, and the fact that it has internal wi-fi, i can sense portablization already. i mean, its like having NES, SNES, N64, GCN, Rev, GB, GBC, and GBA all in the palm of your hand... who doesnt like the sound of that iced with wireless internet play.
now that im done exciting myself with the Rev, im gonna bash around the rest. the 360 improves on very little, except for offering various levels of online play. finnaly a free service for cheapies like me. there are sum ponies under the hood of the 360, but i fear they are all going to be going toward improved visuals, now that every game must be HD compatable. It would be nice to see sum improved AI, and an enemy that doesnt charge me ala kamikaze. and now that im awake, i can see the whole purpose of the x-box; to get windows into the living room. the 360 will have media junk jammed into it, not to mention it will connect to your home network and PC. be loaded with dandy M$ apps like MSN messenger, internet explorer, and other various apps that one wouldnt normally affiliate with gaming. just when yu thot that yu had enuff spyware, yull now be able to enjoy those pr0n pop ups while in the middle of Return of the Jedi.
I have so much to complain about the PS3 im not going to even start. one thing i will mention is this, it has two video processing unites developed by nvidia, which retail on the PC market for 500 bux each. im shure we all passed grade 1 math. the games look so realistic i mite as well go outside and play soccer for a fraction of the cost. (price been projected at anywhere from 500-1200). i dont know if any of yu have heard, but sony has already patented neural technologies similar to the matrix. if sony's quality and customre support is portayed in the ordeal that we call the PSP, therez not a chance i want sony in my wallet, as well as my head.
if yur still here, im surprised yu havent shot yourself yet...
