The PS3 has a 7 cell 3.2 GHz CPU and a Nvidia GPU with more power than 2 6800 SLI's put together. Sure, the controller is (arguably) a disaster but A) its just alpha hardware and there's absolutly no guarentee that it will be the final controller and B) since the PS3 comes with built in WiFi, 6 USB ports and bluetooth, who says you have to use sony's controller? As for games, the PS3 will be backwards compatible with PS2 and PS1 titles. While this is nothing comapred to the backward compatibility of the Revolution, you still have to go download the games onto the revolution and have store on the SD card. You almost definatly will have to pay for downloading these games whereas with the PS3 you can just put in your old PS2 and PS1 games. As to the 360: I think the PS3 is gonna kick the xbox 360's **** in terms of gameplay for two reasons. First, Microsoft really isn't trying to go after gamers anymore. For example, they had their unveiling before E3, on MTV. They also said how the xbox 360 will be your personal media hub and connect to other devices etc. They're really trying to take the emphisis off gaming. Second, (and anyone that saw the sony press confrence will agree with me) the gameplay + graphics on the tech demos they had at the confrence were absolutly, jaw dropping AMAZING! Plus, they proved that it wasn't pre render by pausing one of the games and rotating the camera. Also, the PS3 is going to have to equivelant of xbox live! but with full privilages or whatever without having to pay.
Specs and graphics do not matter at all. All that matters is if the games are fun. In fact, NES > PS3/360/REV

If the Rev can play the NES games, then I think you have to put the Rev > NES.
