My desktop used to get like that, but, now it doesn't get quite as bad, because I don't keep as much stuff, and I don't keep/link to as much on my desktop.

Live Android for now is only able to run in a Live CD/USB form. And at the moment, it has low graphics card support. The only computer I was able to get Live Android to boot on normally with out using Virtual PC was my mom's 15in Acer Aspire.
