Current, or with a 3.5"?
I could run the numbers, might be a day or two, though. Need to finish some bondo work before I can know for my current one.

Okay.
That's what I thought. It seemed like SS knew what you were talking about, maybe I'm going crazy?
Are you going to do your cart relocation directly to the CPU like SifuF? I think you should. He really didn't optimize space on the sides of his case, it can be done smaller, WITH batteries. I believe in you! Go go go!

For this one, no need. I can use the board AS IS.
For the next one, I might have to do that. I will avoid it if I can, though.
And actually, a portrait style portable would be the smallest, with a side loading slot. But I suppose I should finish this one before I get ahead of myself, look at my last one; I thought too much about how I could improve it, then canceled it to make a smaller one!

Portrait? As in the screen vertically over the controls? I don't get it. What's your reasoning?palmertech wrote:For this one, no need. I can use the board AS IS.

Woops, I was not clear again.
Smallest way to make a 5" one is portrait.
Smallest way to make a 3.5" is... Well, both. I would probably do portrait, though, as I might get a small size difference.

Portrait is awkward though.
You shouldn't trade comfort for a few square centimeters.

what did you guys give him?
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

I haven't really been here that long. Are you saying someone on these forums posted pictures of your portables and said they were his, and tried to sell them to you guys?
