No, Mac OS 9, 8, or 7. 8)

As a side note, here's System 7.0.1 on an emulated Plus with a system extension that adds wallpaper (written in 1988 or '89).

All those shortcuts are legitimate, however 'iTunes' is just a folder with a custom icon. It contains copies of "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Because it's Midnite" in a highly compressed format that can play on SoundEdit.

So we should all buy expensive, top of the line computers to run a crappy OS? You're making less and less sense.
I bought my top-of-the-range PC for gaming obviously, but i've seen people bash Vista because it didnt work well on 512MB of RAM... seriously who has 512MB of RAM in 2008 :|

I'm pretty sure my normal PC usage would kill 512mb itself. Hell firefox uses about 100MB for some reason.

256MB is quite sufficient for me on my Lifebook. I use Firefox as well, and it is currently using 55MB of RAM with 6 tabs open. Now, I'm hardly using this laptop for anything demanding. On my Dell downstairs, which I really only use occasionally now, and for stuff like Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Elements, I have 1GB of RAM. This is great for those demanding apps, but is hardly necessary for day-to-day web browsing.

I run and use a lot of resource demanding programs. Photoshop, SonicStage, hell even Windows Live Messenger somehow manages to use 32MB ram, then there is Steam etc.

I hate using crap PC's too, I only like powerful ones.

My computers are not "crap", they are simply old. They were good for their time. It's not like I have an eMachines or something.

not using crap software (live messenger etc) tends to use less ram as well, my laptop has 256mb ram, so does the desktop i use every day and i get along just fine, my main desktop has 2 gb tho.

Yeah that was a bad choice of word. I should of said something like... lower spec.

My dad has a 1.8ghz AMD Athlon and 1GB of RAM. I find that sufficent if I ever need to use a PC when my own isn't in commission (or some other gay is on).

I have an old PII 400mhz with 64MB of RAM and Windows 98SE. 98SE is quite a usable system for non-intensive things, and those specs are ideal for 98SE; it's more responsive than my mom's 3GHZ Vista machine with 2GB of ram.
