I think it is a division, and the upper part is the person wearing the shirt. It could be a line, but that wouldn't make sense

its boolean, a line above a variable in a boolean equation is negation (meaning not)

I'm not actually buying that you learnt the binary codes for characters (or the decimal codes, and then converted)

Reminds me of a shirt design I had in mind once. Binary "I'm with stupid"

the problem with that is that
a) binary is overused, and very less people realize it's actually just numbers, which translate into characters in a certain charset
b) people don't understand it.
