Well since I just got into DS homebrew, I have to go with DS.

PSP=Gamegear with Multi-media/Homebew functions and longer battery life. (Not on the terms of Graphics though.

If it had a touch screen it would be the ultimate portable.... I wonder if it would be possible to install a touch screen? Im guessing not.

Despite it being a generation behid I'm still in love with the GBA. It's like a "new" super nintendo with new games.

It's my current collecting bug as well, even tho I can't bring myself to buy cart only games.

GBA all the way, the see-through original one. I've spent so much time on Final Fantasy Tactics, the original F-Zero and Doom II. I think I got around 120 hours on FF:Tactics before my brother deleted my file

Game Gear!

That was my first ever gaming system, and I still love it. It may be big and eat batteries, but I spent hundreds of hours playing sonic on it as a kid. And it's blue!

But for a current system, the PSP is the best. As has been said, it can emulate almost everything, has great multimedia capabilites, and has some pretty good commercial games (even though nobody else seems to think so).
Optomists say that the glass is half full.
Pessimist say that it's half empty.
Engineers say that it's twice as big as it needs to be.

It might be possible, I read something on acidmods about it maybe being possible. The hard part would be finding a touchscreen the right size and the software. From what I heard, it would be soldered to the analog.

No offense to anyone at acidmods, but on their forums, the only people with more than crap between their ears are the R&D, Admins, and me. :P Really, I had to explain several times before anyone understood why its almost impossible to put a trackball in a PSP. They have some cool stuff there, but most people barely know what an LED is, and think that LEDs are the meaning of modding. LEDs are cool, but they can't be considered a good hack, at least not when you just shove them in the triggers.

That was impressive, but thats one of the said Admins that know something. Hardly anything original happens there from the average forum member.
