2 part bondo attack
lots of wet sanding
a couple layers of primer and flat white paint(wet sanding between all of them

then 2 or 3 coats of clearcoat to make it nice and shiny

It's my goal to beat his thickness, as stated in some other thread. I'm using a mini, with Li-Po batteries. I hope to make it (excluding the assortment of thigns near the cart slot) 1 inch. A hard goal, but hopefully doable.

if i really work at this i could get it to the thickness of 2 snes carts stacked plus half an inch taller, thats including the actual game attached mind ya and not including a battery, actually if i can really cut the sucker down i might try something REALLY interesting. just fyi I REALLY NEED A HIPGEAR OR SIMILAR SMALL LCD CHEAP!

edit: actually my idea, while probably possible, if done by me would likely lead to the death of my snes mini, anyone want to trade the snes part of the famicom twin for a mini snes?

sammy wrote:Mario RPG? That's the first game I tried with my FC Twin. At first it didn't work. Then it worked but all of my savefiles where gone (nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo). Then I tried it again and it didn't work for like ten times. So I tried it on my normal NTSC snes. It worked. I then tried it again on my FC Twin and it worked. Reset, didn't work...
I don't know what is up whit that game but it looks like the hardware isn't fully SA-1 compatible.
Anyway, this device is not 100% compatible. That's for sure.
Are you using a pal fc twin? I just tried my Mario RPG and it works flawless. Ive got all NTSC stuff. Kirbys Dream Land 3 works as well, which is also SA-1. Now the SA-1 contains basically another 65816 processor which works together with the snes 65816. If you try using it in a pal system at 50hz, sync issues may occur from what i understand.

I don't think there's a pal FC twin (maybe a Japanese pal but dunno). Anyway I'm using a NTSC FC Twin with the NTSC version of Super Mario RPG and it doens't work correctly. The Mario Kart I used is PAL, which led to glitches.

Sorry for jacking your thread TurboTax. Sammy, maybe we can make a new thread for FC Twin compatability. Your Mario RPG may be a newer version with better anti-piracy/region lockout implemented.

I (and many others) know that if you put a SNES game in backwards, the data all gets erased. Perhaps it's something similar.
