I may be a haphazard person, but I spent long time working with smaller stuff, and learning about high voltage equptment, before attempting a Tesla Coil. And guess what? I STILL ended up getting nearly killed. Those wall outlets have nothing on a Tesla coil.

Seriously, stay away from those till you have some pretty epic skillz.

I have too many projects to list. :lol:

i don't plan on making this project until i get a good grip on electricity. in highschool, i plan on working with this kind of stuff, and thinking the summer after my first year of high school i will attempt it.

like i said, i'd LIKE to try this, but for now, it's thousands of miles out of my reach. it's not impossible to reach, but it will take A LOT of work, planning, studying, prototyping, and knowledge of the subject at hand.

If it's alright with you guys I'd like this thread to get back on track for posting what your current projects are and what your goal for finishing it are. Once you've achieved something, come back and update your initial post.

I didn't realize there are so many great projects being worked on so far!
