Nope. In fact, Ben said something about Elites being more susceptable because they don't sell as quickly, so new chipsets (Jasper, etc) take longer to implement than in other SKUs.

Anyone who insists Elites or Halo 360's are better in any way are completely retarded dumbfuks* that don't know what they're talking about. There are only two trims of 360, and that's just a matter of A/V ports. All the hardware is the same unless you are talking about board revisions (4 of them I believe). I recently fixed a box full of Elites and Halo 360s with RROD. Elites aren't any more susceptible either, but newer chipsets (regardless of trim) are better than older ones in that regard because they use less power and therefore produce less heat. Allegedly the Jasper isn't supposed to get RROD, I'll let you know when I have a stack of them awaiting repairs a year from now :lol: . I can't believe Microsoft hasn't revised the attachment method of the heat sinks, surely they must know by now people have had success by attaching them properly with screws and washers.
