We're complete opposites on this one, I think the 3D ones are kinda fun, but it loses all the fun twists and quirks that the 2D ones have. The only one I even semi enjoyed was Twilight Princess, and it still doesn't hold a candle to ALttP.

I'd say Windwaker is my favorite. Has anyone ever taken the time to just take a look at all the crap that's in that game? It's massive.

It's the only 3d one I've REALLY played. I've yet to play Twilight Princess but I don't have the cash or want to really.

Hmm... I've actually played and beaten every Zelda game on a nintendo console or handheld, but I don't remember much. All I know is I had the ability to beat every one of them, and yet i don't recall many of the details. I even beat the linked story of the GBC ones.
I play the most nowadays, in order:
1. Zelda 1
2. Phantom Hourglass
3. Twilight Princess
4. Wind Waker
5. Ocarina of Time
6. Four Swords Adventures
7. Link to the Past
8. Four Swords
9. Minish Cap
10. Oracle of Ages
11. Oracle of Seasons
12. Link's Awakening DX
13. Link's Awakening
14. Zelda II
15. Majora's Mask
Hmm... Any I missed?
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

I might have been too quick to jump to a conclusion with Majora's mask. It was very good, but I also enjoied Wind waker. People (like some who I know) that disregard the game due to the graphics are really missing out.

Whats this Classic Zelda with LTTP tileset.
"zelda classic" is a 2d zelda engine. http://zeldaclassic.armageddongames.net/
There are HUNDREDS of custom games, and a lot of custom quest add ons. my favorite one is one that is a perfect remake of the original zelda, but with the graphics tileset of LTTP. It makes it a truly epic game. :)

My best friend likes that game. I personally think it's good, but one of the weaker zeldas.

it's funny no one mentioned zelda 2

But in all fairness, OOT.

Off-topic: Awesome Rambo DP.

On-topic: The first 2 Zeldas on the NES are probably.. my second favourites? Dunno. No game will match the charm of Zelda 1. That game rocks.
