My FC Twin has Yobo branding on it, and it has the better colors/sound but the same Super NES motherboard design as the older FC Twins with no branding. I did notice some FC Twins actually have no paint inside the cartridge slots(just bare gray plastic) and actually say "MADE IN CHINA" under the unit. As I got my FC Twin almost right after the system was revised, I got one with the new NOAC, but older Super NES motherboard design with the newer, more accurate parts. While the solder spot is gone on the later Yobo-branded units, you COULD still solder the lockout chip directly to certain pins on the Super NES side's circuitry. I don't exactly know where, but I will try to retrace everything for newer-model FC Twins with the new boards. There are also other clones that lack that solder spot: the RetroDuo and FC3 Plus. Once I figure out what goes where from the lockout chip to the Super NES side's circuitry in my FC Twin, the mod will then work on the RetroDuo and FC3 Plus.
