Well, all of you that say your not going to see it. Your missing out... big time.

I see your saying it had soldering and was a movie for geeks :P, whilst it was a bit on the techinical side, I still could imagine the movie being entertaining to non-geeky/benheck style people lol.

In all, this was a really good film, I probably won't end up at the cinema again to watch it again, instead i'll wait for the DVD release and just buy that instead.

Saw Iron Man yesterday. Good movie. I do have to say one of the funner things in this movie was the cameo of Stan Lee, who he's playing when you see him.... PRICELESS.

I'm a bit broke. I just pre-ordered Rambo on Blu-ray.

I'll just download the demo for the Iron Man game and play that.

I didn't read this thread aside from the first post for fear of spoilers, but I'm going on the 9th for my birthday.

The only thing I don't understand is, if his glowing chest super-generator both powers the suit and KEEPS HIM ALIVE, then why is it exposed to the outside? And the one on Obadiah's metal kick-ass suit is inserted from the outside! Couldn't they at least have put a battery cover on or something?

Yes they could have concealed it better, but the whole glowing generator in his heart is the trade mark for Tony Stark and Ironman.

Ironically there are people who have already made miniature Arc Reactors like Tony Stark. A few are not as authentic (lacking a few LEDs) but really cool non the less.

And the best scene was "Testing thrusters at 10% power.... Ready, go!"

Here's my question : at least out here, we've got a plethora of Iron Man trailers running day and night. Doesn't it seem counter-intuitive to show the most awesome parts of the show (ten percent power, terrorist breakout, antagonist reveal, etc.) to people who haven't paid yet ? I mean, maybe they build anticipation for the movie, but had I seen those trailers before the film itself I wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much.

To see Tony build the flux capacitator, turn to p. 96.

To see Tony build the arc reactor, turn to p. 14.

No see on the chans they were saying "TONY STARK CAN BUILD A _____ IN A CAVE!" and it was funny.

Hilarious, even. (This is not 'the chanz', we do not read the chans, no do we understand the joke.)

Raithah: I know what you mean. Trailers ruin movies, but they get people to see them more. The best part that was shown in a trailer that ruined that part of the movie had to be, 100% hands-down, the part where he gets shot down by the tank then shoots it back. It didn't really add much to the trailer, either.
Hey, sup?
