Got my results yesterday, turns out I managed to get 11A*s and 1 A :D :D So I'm insanely happy right now. We go back on the 5th September, but I'm going into 6th Form, so we've got new teachers, and can't screw around for a bit, at least until we suss them. Last year one of my friends had this USB foot switch which was like a posh Alt-Tab :P He hid it under the desk, and used it whenever the teacher came over. It worked, because normally the teachers can see us hitting Alt-Tab, and know we're on something else. Complete overkill, but it worked

One guy in our year 10 last year, had a thing for 'modding' his pencil case and folder. His forst one was leds in the opening of the pencil case, that was fun and then he mounted a avr and a screen in it, i never saw that running though.

His folder too, had a screen and stuff in it. He had plans to put a pictoITX in it, but i never say that either.

Somone here should do that =)

I'm Taking Algebra II and Geometry this year so Apps for those courses would help. And I've looked at ticalc.org but theres like 10 different files named the same thing and I have no idea what to download and what not to. Thanks.
Get "A+ Algebra 2" and "A+ Geometry" (both apps). They do so much stuff for you it's mind boggling.

Trying to find those Programs is harder than deciding which Program to download :?

What Calc are they originally for and are they flash, basic, asm, etc?

They are Apps (not programs) and I'm not sure what language they are in. I can send you them later if you want. Get me on AIM later. I'm at school right now.

EDIT: I'm at home now; I upped them to my Googlepages site. Here's A+ Algebra2,, and here's A+ Geometry.

They are Graphing Calculators and all the ones except the 83's hook up by using a Type-B USB to Type-A USB Cable. The 83's use I/O to USB Cables.

Now a days all TI Calculators except the 83 come with USB Cables so they can get stuff transferred from/to them easily.

Thanks ketchup! I hope these help me :)

I just got my schedule and im mad. I have all classes with my friends, but I dont have a math calss so I got a schedule change, and it will probably turn out like last year where I had classes with no friends and made 1 friend over the year  (besides Trevor the super-nerd, who was walking home listening to janitors swearing at eachother on the scanner. but he's 2 years older then me so I dont have any classes with him.)

Wow, this semester freaking rocks for me. The only class I don't like is Algebra II but it's because it's the only class I have to really think in.

I have:

Microcomputers/SoftApps/FCS (Boring but easy A+)
Algebra II (Math? Grr...I hate thinking)
Design Engineering (Fun!)
World Cultures (Sounds Boring but so far it's been pretty cool)

Right now I have all 100%'s in my classes because I've only had like 4 or 5 assignments in each class.

My TI-84 Plus Silver Edition owns. Playing all the Super Mario Lands (Gameboy) on my Calculator is fun 8)

PS: I'm a Sophomore btw (10th Grade for non-High School noobs)

I'm going into the 6'th quarter of my associate's degree program. No classes next week!

My bag o' tricks:
- 1gb USB drive
- 2gb iPod Nano
- Dell PDA with 2 gig SD card, emulators, and a media player
- Pens, notebooks, bla bla bla
- The free Casio scientific calculator they gave away at orientation. (everyone got one.)
- 80 gb SATA drive in swappable drive bay (for Windows Server and Linux classes, we have to run the systems)

I think my classes are Advanced Windows Server 2003, Linux Administration, and Economics. Fun fun fun!
