I allways light the pen on fire, thats where i'm going wrong then. After about 10 or so pens being destroyed i just took my soldering iron to it and melted everything. It takes ages and produces toxic fumes but it works.

If you expect people to do that with something like a mini SNES, then you must be crazy. It's not a very good thing to do if your portable fails then you just threw 50 bucks out the window.dj-spuddy wrote:I allways light the pen on fire, thats where i'm going wrong then. I would never do that to a mini SNES thats like murder. I pick up these old ones for about 3 pounds ($5).RollOfToiletPaper wrote:If you expect people to do that with something like a mini SNES, then you must be crazy. The pen method does work. Take out the tip and ink and then heat up the opposite end of the tip end and jam it onto the screw head. It works much better than the other way. Make sure though that you leave the blue cap thing in (its blue on a BIC pen)

The pen method has been proven to work. There was no need to revive this topic to say so.khaag wrote:The pen method does work.
