yeah way back when I was building my first N64p (I was first using a tackle box)I tried doing what you did, just cutting out holes for the buttons but they never stayed in the right place and I could never cut the holes for it right. So I did what I've been doing for every N64p I've ever built, just taking the part of the N64 controller that holds the buttons, cutting it out with a Dremel and glue it in the case. it's worked well for me every time: ). anyway I can't wait to see this finished, it looks like it's gonna be sweet
