the wall adapter that comes with the ps2 slimline will run it. all you have to do is run a + & - line to the adapter on the mobo. (that's what I have done with mine, although i put an on off switch so that i can still use the ps2 with a tv & not have the screen running.)
Why make a portable? Because I want to be able to game cordless.
