Sony Announces PS3 Slim!!

I guess I don't understand why someone would do this still. Just makes no sense.

At least with the DS Lite it was a significant upgrade. With the PS3 it will function exactly the same, but will look different and use a little less power.

It shouldn't be the PS3 slim, it should be the PS3 short. It looks like they cut a third off of an original PS3 (33% smaller, so I guess so!) It sort of reminds me of the third generation Nano's

But I'm glad it will still be mostly affordable. But if there is no backwards compatibility, it's not for me.

Oh you are so wrong, my friend. Take it from me, I have all three consoles and they ALL have great games that define the system. 360 and PS3 do share many multi-platform games, but there are quite a few great PS3 exclusives.

That is his point. He was implying you are not an unbiased person, as opposed to someone who has previously posted who actually owns all three consoles, and is thus far more likely to actually have an inkling as to what he is talking about. I usually dislike backseat modding, but please, no need to come in here and attempt to turn this into a PS3/360 battle.

I am waiting to see the guts, I hear it has an internal power brick like the first one. If that is the case... Boy, this thing might be able to be made into a pretty small PS3 laptop with external power brick!

No it doesn't, but your previous comment and the fact you do not even own what you are judging does portray to others that you are biased. Everyone is biased, that is unavoidable, the key is too limit it and try to always comprehend all the sides of an issue rather than blatantly judge something you don't know about.

Anyhow, if you really feel that way about the PS3, why would you come into a topic about the PS3 Slim just to spread your hate? It seems to me you just purposely wanted to start an argument like this.

I hate console war crap. They all have good and bad points... the ps3 isn't just a paper weight and the 360 isn't just a ticking time bomb.

A list of good exclusive games for the PS3 (not going to bother with multi-platform).

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Little Big Planet
Resistance 1 & 2
Killzone 2
Infamous
Motorstorm 1 & 2

Plus, coming down the pike in the future are Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2:Among Thieves, MAG, God of War III, etc.

I will say that I don't think all of these games are amazing or anything, but overall these are some of the best the PS3 has to offer.

Now back to the regular discussion.
