Take it from someone who's been burned (figuratively) by their garbage. Go with a real, trustworthy brand like Gigabyte, Intel, Acer, Asus, MSI, EVGA, etc.
I built mine with an ECS mobo and it works fine.

2-4 Gigs of RAM, AT LEAST Dual Core processor (Not a Pentium 4 Logic, that's what I have and it SUCKS), and ATI Radeon HD4850/70/90

Anything past the 4850 will play those maxed. I get 212 FPS CS:S.
