The point was to have a bot that DID have some resemblance of AI.

What I meant was bots are usually just annoying and irrelevant. It was mildly entertaining, but not much more than that.
It was good to have it for a time, but I'm glad it's off now.

Well I haven't ran across one, anyway.

Yes, but their responses are still quite funny. Have you ever heard of "SmarterChild" for MSN? It's a bot anyone can add and talk to... It's funny as hell. You can say the most explicit things and it'll be like "I'm sorry I do not think that is appropriate". Sometimes, it will even make weird remarks. You can actually have a half-decent convo with it.
