Pretty much sums it up. :wink: I am gonna wait a year or two and see if these portables are still going with these buttons.
three years isn't horrible. make the controller semi removable and you can perform maintenance on it if need be.

i didnt say 3 years i said "so a button that lasts years instead of decades" honestly it would supprise me if these lasted less than 10 years. on a semi related note ive roughly figured out the final thickness! it will be GBO thickness plus 7-9mm! or a quarter to one third of an inch added thickness! wish i cold get it down to less but i think that .25" is about the minimum, heres a slightly updated pic
