@jjhammerstein: Yes, I've full use of my left arm.. so you're suggesting something like those F1 cars steering control? That means I'll have to fork out a fortune of $$ which I don't really have..
@Kurt_: There's a one handed controller? I didn't even know that.. I play games using the normal controllers & still able to beat the game..
& yes, I'm willing to learn.. I just don't have the tools needed to start working.. I mean, where can I get those things, motors, battery, etc?
The main reason I wanted to drive has to be the fact that I don't want to depend on others to get me around. I can feel myself trapped in this one tiny spot & not being able to see the world.. which kinda sucks..
I know I can do more than just rotting at home or travel short distances in my power wheelchair(useless bugger that can't even last 3km).

One handed controller.
You need to hook up the pedals to handles, like bicycle or motorcycle brakes.
They have knobs you can attach to your steering wheel that allow you to rotate the wheel several times without letting go, so you can use one arm.
