when i used the marine bondo, it didn't really harden :roll: , so I think I mixed it wrong... how is the best way to mix the green and white stuff together?

I just recently got some marine bondo putty as well to try it out and I would like to know some more tips on proper use too!

As in the stick stuff? If so you just knead it like dough until it is a uniform color and stick it on...

Try to take photos of the table while you are molding your controller if possible. I would like to see how well a homemade vac forming table works.

well, i will do that, i haven't used it yet, and I am still waiting for my plastic to arrive and I still need to make the mold. probably will happen over the weekend if the plastic comes soon...

ok, anyway I have some pics of the things I did this week, but didn't get enough time to upload them :roll: the controller is dremeled as far as it needs to be :) finally! and the first pic of my case design. I know it loks like marshal's but I have more buttons on my portable so it will look different :mrgreen:

well, good news, my friend's dad will help me make the wooden mold since he has a cool wood workshop. I just hope my plastic comes tomorrow so I can actually make the case

Yeah I totally expect to blast through at least a couple of sheets of plastic before I get a case that I like. I can't wait to try it, though.

joedog are you talking about vac forming, or my case design?
oh yeah my plastic hasn't come and I need to wait till next weekend for my friends dad to cut my mold because the wood glue has to dry for a very long time. :(

well guess what... my plastic came !!!!!!!!!!! yay after this week when I get the mold cut and routered, The case will be finished, of after I bondo it :P

a quick question, is it safe to use tape to secure plastic in a frame that is going into the oven? because I have no luck whatsoever finding a thing to secure plastic to the frame
