We got a day off last week because of an ice-in-the-roads watch. I'm originally from the North, it's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. But hell I'm not complaining 8)

EDIT: Heh, it was 60 F today and clear skies, it's supposed to get down to 32 tonight though, no chance of rain.

Yeah, I had no school today and I got tomorrow off.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm going to use extra hair-spray tomorrow to get global warming going faster to help the people in NY who got 11 feet of snow in a week.

I STILL think snow is better than the fricking heat wave we had last summer!

The more you move to the south, the more frightful the school system.

In Ohio the snow falls in late fall, and stays there for months. School is never cancelled, even at -21 F. I have fond memories of my snot freezing as I walk to school. God forbid you take a shower in the morning.

In North Carolina, the sky could look at you funny, and they'd cancel school right off the bat.

That sound about right for Ohio, But for some odd reason they haven't been able to get all the snow up in time and in the past 2 weeks we have had 5 days off, but its not the weather you want to go out and shovel in, its been as low as -20 in the past days.

Now my basement is felling kind off depressing, all of its windows are blocked in by snow, so its dark.

School wasn't cancelled here. Of course I didn't go to class today. (I don't have class on Wednesday this quarter :P Yay college!)

I can still see the tips of the grass on the lawn, so we've probably only got a half inch or so. And it's raining now.

Well, we mostly got rain, but that's after sleet and freezing rain clogged the drains and sealed the ground, so now everything's a big slushy mess. Of course tomorrow morning it's all going to be ice... at least it's supposed to be above freezing and sunny.

I just hope the car doesn't get a shell of solid ice AGAIN... :x

Oh and about cleaning cars off with a cold: NOT FUN!

Your kidding! It has been at least -10F the past two weeks, and no cancelations (except today!).

Here in Vermont, every single school in the state was closed today. I kid you not! Pretty amazing. My area was expected to get 16-26 inches of snow between near midnight Tuesday and Thursday morning. It's 5:00 Wednesday and I have 2 and a half feet already, and more on the way!

It "slushed" here in CT this morning, 1/2 snow, then sleet/freezing rain. I'm homeschooled so no snow days for me :(.
