Too bad I don't have Starcraft.
Maybe I should get it.
Anyone have Total Annihilation? The only free server I've found besides TA Spring (pretty much a whole different game) is PhoeniX WorX. If you play, and use PhoeniX or some other server, I'd like to play against a real person.

ok well it looks like there are enough people interested that we can have more than one game.
for the sake of moving these plans along, im arbitrarily saying that there will be a game Friday and Saturday night at 6pm EST. hopefully no one is planning to go out and party real early.
feel free to suggest other times if that dosent work.

thank you, timmeh, I agree. And Xfire is cool, I have it, which would work. I will need to practice up on bw, though, because I usually play original.

STARCRAFT TOURNAMENT
6PM EST (11PM GMT)
Friday and Saturday Night (dec 22 and 23)
Be prepared!:
- install Hamachi (http://hamachi.cc/)
- install the lastest patch (v1.14) (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msc0411p)
- The latest patch is needed to play LAN games over UDP
- <s>INSTALL THE IPX PROTOCOL! (last i checked LAN games dont work without it)</s>
Ventrilo 2.3.0 server IP: vbmaster.facewan.com:3784
vbmaster's Xfire : vbmaster
Hamachi network name / password: benheck / cookies
- i think we should start off in original, for compatibility reasons. once everyone has showed up, we can discuss moving to broodwar
- should we discuss which maps? im a fan of BGH.
- feel free to show up early. hopefully ill be there ahead of time with a game (i might also end up partying on friday. lol)
- feel free to invite your 'real life' friends
- no hacks, etc. come on people.

Ah. I'm more of a fan of BNET and I'm west coast. Sorry.
I don't like new things, heehee.
