Leopard is out? Well last I has seen was two different pages for the Leopard page at apple.com. The first showed they could run them on G3 machines, likely the same hardware requirements as Panther and Tiger have had. But later they removed any mention of the G3 or G4 and really even G5 from the list. Now Leopard is toted as being OS X in pure 64bit code, and really well the G3/4 do have the ability to run some 64bit code it's outside it's abilities to run nothing but, it'd be really like running NT on an 680x0 chipset.
Also I said "might", I'm not sure I haven't kept up on this as up til now I haven't had a working Mac and so saw no point in keeping up with developments on the kind of hardware/software I can't even run.
