LEAPFROG WILL NOT WORK!

It's final, talking from a tech standpoint, I highly doubt they will. Financially, they just want to hurl crap at kids to play with, so the LCD itself could be crappy, nevertheless, WHY would they add input? That's like making a portable TV and they would lose money. If you see the Yellow, White (and/or) Red Jacks, see if it says input or output?

I doubt you could use those screens. They probably use their own digital signals. Sorry kid but I doubt you'll know how to make an adapter for that. So this prob. isn't gonna work. (ps. again use spaces and learn typing)

Edit: and don't start going: "But I can't afford another screen" Nope i'm 13 almost 14 and I don't have money either. It's an expensive hobby. Learn to deal with it.

It won't work. You just need a screen that accepts composite. Cellphones gameboys and other portable devices (almost) all use digital signals. You need a screen that accepts composite. If you don't have the money i'm just gonna say this once from now: Thats your freaking problem!

The LeapFrog Game Screen WILL NOT WORK. You will just waste time and money on it!

Here's why:

The video has to be converted from the processor's signals to the TV's signals (digital to NTSC Composite). This requires a converter which takes up space and costs money. In order to save money, they use a screen which can use the signals the processor makes. The image you see on the LCD screen is good because it uses these signals. It wouldn't look as good if they used composite, because the compression degrades the image quality.

I reiterate:

The LeapFrog is a waste of your time. Get a real screen, like a Hip Gear or Intec screenpad, which got for about $20.

No. Same reason as above. The screen uses special signals, not NTSC or composite or anything else.

They're game controllers that have 2.5" LCDs attached to them. They take regular Composite video (the yellow wire), and aren't expensive (less than $25). Unfortunately, most stores won't bother with them, so you'll need to find one online.
