so...how long do you think it will be until a 360 portable..

Includes PS2, Xbox 1, GameCube (but not the Phantom Game Console)

Actually, try about a year or so; Benjamin Heckendorn has cracked the seal on the Xbox360, (along with the Gamecube and some other consoles) as can be heard on his podcast.

I dont think it would be that hard, its the heatsink that would stop you. Because this thing puts out a lot of heat compared to the first Xbox. Theres a couple of screens Ive been looking at that are in the 7" range. And for the controler you can use a wired one and it allready uses a laptop drive.. So if you can get passed the heat then everything else should be easy..

Leave it to Dave, in other words. Expect it after his N64p and GCp. :P

I guess we'll have to see on this.

I don't think it'll take 5 years.

I really think it might take maybe 3 years or 4, cause look at the xbox (1), it came out when, 2002? and just recently was a portable version made, so think about it: 2002-2006=4 years. it might take even longer seeing as the hardware is larger maybe. Look at the article ben put in his site on game spy, there is a photo of a 360 MB and it seems quite large especialy that big block that it think is the heatsink.

finally got motivated again to start a portable, which i have...but with many doubts :S

less than one year, because ben's probably working on it as the portable that people would never believe, as he's opened a 360 already and I can't think of any reason he would do that otherwise to consider portableizing (Unless, of course, he felt like 'chipping' it, but there are no 360 modchips...)
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.
