All of the previous pictures that you have posted have not showed up on my computer. Its just an X, could you try reposting them again and maybe in a different format or something... I really want to see what everyone is talking about.

I thought I'd take a break from working on the GCp to update you guys on how it is. First of all, it's not finished, because yesterday I had to redo most of the power wiring, AV wiring, and some switches too :(....I did, however, begin cutting holes for the controller and as soon as the wiring is completely finished (again....) I'll do the screen and back plate...

I'll post pics whenever I'm done, which may be anytime between today and saturday...
As for the battery life, should be about 2 1/2 hours :).

btw, I've noticed that the forums have become extremely active lately, I haven't been here in only a couple days and already there are tons of Forum 42 topics and posts and in other sections too......guess I won't check them all out until I'm done with this thing!!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I've come with the recent slashdotting of this page and am hooked, so much so i went and bought a gc with the intention of making it portable... Anyways enought of me and back to the post.

Just wondering how you went with slimming down the drive as its a bulky lil bugger, the most i could see you could possible hack it down would be about 32mm high (about 1.23 inches) in some areas you listed your total case depth to be (25mm) 1 inch?

If all goes to plan with mine i'd like the depth to be 1inch bar a small raised section of about 10mm from the back like Bens ps2p battery section but raised for the drive itself with self contained batteries

Hope all is going well with your GCP :o)

maybe :D

actually, he told me on AIM that he was leaving at 8:00 (I'm assuming EST, since that's his timezone) on Tuesday. I suppose he'll be arriving sometime soon. God, I can't imagine being in a plane that long, it's gotta be worse than when I went to Hawaii a while back

I'm guessing 12. He lives in the New England based area, but I'm not going to be too specific for his sake
