Has anyone done this to their case yet? I know that a gameboy is a much smaller , cheaper and reliable way of playing these games, but I still think it would be cool.
My progress so far: I grew tired of waiting for my gamebits so I heated up a clear bic pen to get the screws out. I did succesfully remove one screw before I ended up creating a genetic mutant bic-pen super famicom system. Of course it was one of the deep screws and now I'm breaking the pen out piece by piece.

yeah its in there(and it pretty easy to add I hear), on the SGB2 released in japan, they actually had the port showing. Make sure you SNES is set up with mono sound. I tried the SGB on my SNESp(which was in stereo) and I'd get no sound from any GB game(but I did get the start up swoosh). I also think that it was somehow realted to my controller going berserk.MM007 wrote:The Super Gameboy has the original GB processor inside, as well as the connections for a Link Cable. It simply isn't used.
If you are doing this, it might be useful to add Link Cable capability. It should be easy if you find a schematic. ^^

I'll just buy a couple and tear them apart, I have seen them for as little as 100 yen (about a buck) in town.MM007 wrote:If you are doing this, it might be useful to add Link Cable capability. It should be easy if you find a schematic. ^^

I found one last night and tore it apart, I didn't see any provisions for a link cable. The chips are on a pretty small (index card sized) board.
Maybe there are different versions available. They are pretty easy to find, along with the N64 GB players, out in the junk shops.
