my quantum fighter pad arrives on wednesday. that will hopefully make the controller a lot easier to implement into the DCP since all the parts of the controller are on different circuit boards.

From what I've seen, resin is a bit brittle to be used in making cases. Good luck though.

I was looking at palmpsone.com and saw that his case was manufactured by a rapid prototyping company using a 3D printer. I think maybe this would be better for me since my case design may prove to be very difficult to do myself. Only problem is that he paid almost $500 for two cases! Maybe I could search around and fine some less expensive manufacturers. Now I just need a 3D model...

Here's a pic of the insides of a Quantum Fighter Pad. It has separate boards for the abc-xyz buttons, the d-pad, the start and program buttons, the analog stick and the triggers. This makes it really easy to spread the buttons out since all I have to do is add more wire.

wow, it looks like it's made by the same people that made the boomerang controller for the n64 that I used.

So you got those wierd controllers that have the shoulder buttons next to the 4 action buttons. It looks like it would make it easier then using the Sega controller.
